  1. Thanks for those interesting Myth or Fact. But in this one, are you sure hypothalamus releases glucocorticoids ? I thought it was the adrenal glands…

    1. You are absolutely correct. Sorry about that. It should read “The anticipation of getting on a roller coaster fills most people with dread, as the hypothalamus signals adrenal glands to release hormones called glucocorticoids to trigger your stress response.” We are updating the image now.
