    Johanna Mayer is a PhD student at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden working on autophagy-mediated secretory mechanisms in Alzheimer’s disease. Her PhD project is part of the EU-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie innovative training network SAND exploring secretion, autophagy, and the role in neurodegeneration. Johanna received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Jena, Germany. Outside the lab she enjoys experimenting with sourdough and being outdoors on a hiking or camping trip.

  • Divi Bhaireddy

    Divi is a high school student entering her Junior year. She always found an interest in science and art, and loves to find ways to bridge the two. In her free time, you can catch her reading, crafting, and spending lots of time outside with her friends.
